Indulge in a competition to minimize drinking, whether you are doing it solo or with friends. Craft a 4 to 12-week self or group challenge and immerse yourself in the excitement of triumph or the consequences of overindulging. Keep track of your daily drinks and allow for some exceptions along the way. Receive weekly and final outcomes to monitor the extent of your drinking reduction. Earn rewards or possibly face penalties for challenges, established by the challenge initiator, also known as the bartender.

Cutting back on alcohol intake can be an entertaining endeavor, contrary to popular belief.

And the best part? It's entirely complimentary, unless you end up losing, in which case you may have to foot the bill among your peers.

<li>Group chat: If you select a group challenge, communicate with other participants. Share images of that enticing wine bottle from last night that caused you to exceed this week's penalty drink limit or offer support and encouragement within your group.</li>
